About dual memberships
If you have a Babylon (private healthcare service) and a GP at Hand account (NHS GP service), you can switch between your memberships in the Babylon app to choose which service to use. You may have access to both if you have registered for Babylon GP at Hand as your NHS GP practice and also have Babylon through your employer/ insurer.
If you are a GP at Hand member, we recommend keeping your membership type as GP at Hand (please note, applicable costs will apply for Babylon’s private healthcare service). Clinicians will be able to see your full medical history and offer all the same services as Babylon private clinicians. This includes private referrals and prescriptions. You'll also get any routine invites for NHS appointments through the app.

How to switch between memberships
- Open Babylon
- Tap Me icon (
) on the Home screen - Select Account summary
- Tap on your membership type
- Select the membership you want to use and tap Send
